Complete description
Vintage Description:
Pale chartreuse yellow with a silver sheen. Delicate nuances of yellow pome fruit, a hint of dark savoury notes, multi-faceted, a still youthful bouquet. Full-bodied, a hint of honeydew melon, a refined acidity, with a saline touch, persistent, fresh herbs on the finish, strong ageing potential. (Peter Moser - Falstaff, June 24, 2024)wine:
Details zur Herkunft:
Wachau Smaragd:

Achleiten is one of the most renowned vineyards in the Wachau. The complexity of the site is also enhanced by the significant elevation differences, ranging from 209 to 357 meters above sea level. The name part 'Ach-' refers to the term for a flowing body of water (Latin aqua), while '-leiten' refers to the steep slope.Soil:
