Podere Laimburg

The core competence of the viticultural and cellar research activities is supported - in the sense of a model enterprise of the South Tyrolean wine industry - by the in-house production of high-quality wines. The range of wines includes 15 varieties: Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer are the main varieties among the white wines, Lagrein, Pinot Noir and Vernatsch among the red wines. All the grapes used come from the company's own vineyards, which are spread over about 45 hectares of vineyards in various wine-growing areas and have different soils and altitudes between 200 and 750 metres above sea level. The 100,000 bottles of quality wine produced at Laimburg have won several awards at professional tastings.
