Arriving in Verona from Southern Italy, the brothers devoted their new business to the trade of wines from their homeland, Apulia. From wine trade and retail to the acquisition of new vineyards, the company progressively gained importance and visibility. During the 1960s, the second generation of the family entered the business, bringing about an opening to export and an orientation toward quality.
The 1980s saw the creation of an agricultural estate with an innovative viticultural centre dedicated to high quality practices, named in honour of the estate’s original owners Cecilia Beretta. This early initiative was emblematic of the family’s constant quest for excellence. In the mid 2000’s the company made a huge investment in new local headquarters and contemporary winery in San Felice, in the heart of the family vineyards in Verona. Today the winery is in the hands of the third generation of the Pasqua family – Riccardo, Alessandro, Giovanni and Cecilia.
