Villa Carumè wines are produced in the heart of Sicily, in the northwestern area, that is particularly vocated to the production of high quality grapes. This unique location takes advantage of the insular-mediterranean climate, perfect for viticulture. The property extends for 100 hectares of vineyards out of 110 hectares of land, owned by the Caruso family. The production system occurs in a winery fully equipped with the most modern winemaking techniques respecting the Sicilian tradition, environment and land. The company aims to give the right importance to the quality of the Sicilian indigenous grapes taking advantage from the cultural and historic heritage of this land without leaving aside the international grape varieties. The produced grapes are Nero d'Avola, Perricone, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grillo, Insolia and Catarratto.
