The winery Giuseppe Quintarelli is located about 350 meters above sea level in the village of Negrar, nestled in the countryside of Valpolicella, filled with only 12 hectares of vineyards, as well as olive groves and cherry trees. Guiseppe Quintarelli made a name for himself as a perfectionist, as well as creating wines that are outside the norm. This is achieved mainly by giving the wines their time, as well as producing only smaller quantities. Tradition and patience are the hallmarks of their wines. For Giuseppe Quintarelli, quality in winemaking went hand in hand with deep-rooted traditionalism in grape growing and winemaking. "El Bepi", as Giuseppe was also known, was one of the few who brought new life into an almost lost region of the previous century. Today the winery is run by the grandson Francesco. As his grandfather did back then, with the time and patience that such wines require, he continues the tradition of the Quintarelli winery.
