    Vintage Description:

    Deep dark ruby red with a purple hue, a subtle brightening on the rim. Dense bouquet, fine fresh herbs, ripe cherries, dark berries, a hint of nougat.     The east-facing Mariental slope, located north of Rust by Lake Neusiedl, benefits from a unique microclimate. The influence of Lake Neusiedl, with the double exposure to the morning sun reflected off the water's surface, allows for the ripening of highly expressive and aromatic grapes.
