The “Gut Linticlar”, today’s Turmhof Castle Winery, was first documented in 1225. Sabine and Christof Tiefenbrunner now lead the estate in its fifth generation. Their children, Anna and Johannes, proudly continue the family legacy, combining tradition with innovation while respectfully developing the art of winemaking. Their wines express a distinctive personality with remarkable character and authenticity. South Tyrol’s mild climate and calcareous, slightly loamy soils provide ideal conditions. Every step is guided by care and expertise—from moderate, quality-focused yields and environmentally responsible vineyard management to varietal-specific ageing in the cellar. For the Tiefenbrunner family, progress means combining the knowledge of past and present generations with gentle, handcrafted winemaking.
