The Triebaumer family ushered in a new era of Austrian red wine back then with the 1986 Blaufränkisch Mariental. Today, they have the knowledge to make agriculture future-proof. Increased biodiversity and the resulting increase in biomass production on the land reduce the dangers associated with monoculture. The year-round labor of their sheep herd raises the energy level in the plants to a new level. These ideal growing conditions for the grapes, perfect harvest timing, selective hand harvesting and natural yeasts are the basis for a vinification based on craftsmanship, time and primordial trust that produces wines bursting with vitality and originality for decades to come. With the totality of their work, the Triebaumer family lays the foundation for wines with which the full spectrum of the soils and their grape varieties can be experienced unadorned with the full inner tension, structure and profundity sip after sip.
